The Father of Our Nation , Mahatma Gandhi

Today I will talk about one of the greatest leader of India who holds really special position when we talk about the struggle of India.
Yes I am taking about Mahatma Gandhi.

Mahatma Gandhi whose real name was Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was born on 2nd October 1869 , in Porbandar ,Kathiawar.

Gandhi Ji is one of the renowned personality around the world.
He was the leader of the national movement in India that was for the Independence of our country.
The time when our country was under the british rule.

He was also the founder of Civil Disobedience Movement in India.
It was the movement where the people of India refused to accept the rules and laws created by the britishers.
But yes it was a Non-Violent Movement as Gandhi Ji was against violence.

It is really a honour for India to have such a great leader as Mahatma Gandhi from our Country.
Do you know the most famous activists including Martin Luther King Jr. and Nelson Mandela were inspired by the teaching and lifestyle of Gandhi Ji.

Gandhi Ji is also known for SatyaGraha throughout the world i.e to hold yourself on the side of truth without invovling any violent activity.
Gandhi Ji followed satyagraha to achieve social or political cause.

Gandhi Ji Contribution for our country is so much that he is also known as the Father of Our Nation.
So let me tell why Gandhi Ji is name initial is being started as Mahatma.

All the Indians see Gandhi Ji as pure and great Soul. Everyone is inspired by his teaching so he is referred as Mahatma that means great soul.

Gandhi Ji ideoligies were in the favour of secularism and he was also a non-violent person.
Actually this non-violent thing of Gandhi ji was the reason why people were inspired by him the most.

During our Childhood we are taught about Gandhi Ji's 3 monkey's and they are :

1. Don't listen to Bad
2. Don't Say Bad
3. Don't See bad

Gandhi Ji Died in the year 1948 , on 30th January in Delhi.
Gandhi Ji was killed Hindu fundamentalist , Nathuram Godse.
He shot Gandhi Ji that resulted in the death of him.

Gandhi Ji is not with us but his teahings will always remain with us.
