It is good to know that El Salvador announced Bitcoin as an official currency, I don't think India to announce the same, suppose it accepts The poor and the uneducated will suffer the most, because of its sudden market changes.
El Salvador has no official currency of its own. It depends runs on USD. Now BTC can serve as an alternative form of currency.
But as you said, there are more possible problems than benefits as more than 50% of the population don't have banks accounts and know nothing about Bitcoin.
