How to Easily Book 18-44 Age Group VACCINATION Slots in India [TELEGRAM way]

(By now most of you know about this I'm sure, but those who don't you may find it helpful)

As India rolls out vaccination for the age group 18-44, people are faced with a lot of dilemma as to how do they successfully book slots online since the slots get booked in seconds after being opened for registration on a particular day.

Well I faced the same problem initially, but thanks to an old school buddy of mine who showed me the easy way out. This will clearly put you a thousand steps ahead of other individuals who are trying to book a vaccination slot like you.

Credits where due, thanks to Berty Thomas, a certain individual from Chennai and who describes himself as a Hobbyist Programmer (as his Twitter handle reads), who developed the website under45(dot)in to make life a whole lot easier for his people in the age bracket of 18-44 and who are a bit tech savvy.

This website requires us to choose our State, our district where we would like to get vaccinated and finally gets the user added to a Telegram (App) channel. Now what it will do is send real time notifications on the user's smartphone as soon as the selected district (as specified by user) opens up bookings for vaccination on a new date/dates.

The Telegram message also contains the Dose specifications (Dose1/Dose2), Centre Details with Pin Code, No. of Slots to be available for booking, Date and link to Cowin homepage.

However, there's some limitations to it as well.(Its better to highlight both sides of the coin). In order to have the best chances of booking your slot, you must ensure the following:

• Have a stable internet connection.
• Log in to Cowin portal/Aarogya Setu App or any other Govt or third party app that provides the services of registration and booking.
• Advisable to perform the task on laptop (but I got it done via mobile)
• The last and the most important thing, where many miss the opportunity -- Remember that you're playing Fastest Finger First with thousands of users in your district. Whoever starts first, ends up booking a slot.
