Bring In Some Spring!
When this is how it looks outside, day after day, one can develop a strong urge for springtime. This is often referred to as cabin fever. Apparently I am suffering from it as I would love to see some Spring around here. However, according to the weatherman, that is not going to happen for a while...
So I got the brilliant idea to bring Springtime, inside of my little adobe. One way I figured to do this is with flowers! Yes flowers always seem to brighten the cold shades of gray that we are endlessly in!
While I certainly know that having fake flowers tend to be on the kitschy side. However, they are Spring-like and do bring some feelings of sunshine into the room.
I think they have really come a long ways in making them seem more realistic!
Here is the latest addition to the owl family!
I am on a bird kick now...I blame it on my desire for Spring!

This little doer is rather small but exceptionally heavy for his size. He has a vintage look about him.
Funny thing about those tiny birds is that they make for the biggest noise about what they want... They really wanted a birdbath! LOL

Wow that snow looks amazing! I agree that fake flowers can be very lifelike these days (some anyway) so lovely to see those of yours looking so good!
