Hahahahahahaha, taking advantage of spring, a very funny video that inspired me for one of my next paintings, you should be attentive.

I’ll watch out for it 👀

I felt like I was watching an advertisement...great job @ultravioletmag.

Thanks! Keep trying to improve my editing bit by bit for YouTube I’ve given up on blockchain social lol

"I’ve given up on blockchain social"

Why?

Because hive is corrupt and I would never fund those individuals, steemit is just like begging from votes from the three ppl that have money if you follow every single rule and only put content here and blurt is just struggling and limping along. I regret not just building my YouTube years ago tbh and not giving so much time to these platforms as a creator.

D tube seems cool and is my fave right now it seems most open honeslty that just rewards things they like, but the other are all too controlling, only pays if you suck up to someoen and follow a list of rules. Steemit would be ok if your average user had one dollar votes at least and you could rly build communities who can support your content. Without reliable fixed rewards you can’t improve as how can you travel to new places or hire ppl etc? Had I just invested in YouTube six years ago would prob be almost full time now. I do regret putting so much effort into these sites tbh.

Of course I’ll just post what I put on YouTube it’s a no brainer but it’s just not worth making proper content anymore just for the chain and I’m not someoen who only wants to put things on one place as I’m trying to promote a business and be able to expand my blog to travel better places etc.

I’ll prob keep doing my photography page because I don’t build that anywhere else right now so it’s easy to just keep it here.

I was thinking about posting more on Hive…time constraints is the reason why I don't. But why do you think Hive is corrupt? I'm just curious.

I do understand about Steemit, it pays to know people, or pools of people, who collectively have a lot of STEEM.

Dollar votes, yeah, since steem/hive has a universal value everywhere...participating on Steemit and Hive favors countries that have a lower cost of living and wealth…and the participation statistics reinforce that. @stef1 on steemit posts curation statistics every week...which is indispensable in understanding the relationship between wealth/cost of living and participation…here’s the link:

https://steemit.com/hive-166405/@stef1/curation-report-april-team-1-week-3-16-04-to-22-04-23

So higher wealth countries have very little participation on the platforms, because it's just not worth the time to post stuff for pennies/pence...and because the rewards are very little compared to the high cost of living, it’s much harder to build a business.

But for low wealth countries with less stable monetary/economic systems and lower cost of living…steemit and Hive are great places to earn income and store wealth. I'm in the US, so I feel you, if popular, there can be more payout on YouTube than there is on these platforms.

And I agree, sometimes the list of rules can be a bit much, lol, that's why I only participate in contests with fewer rules.

I've never tried D Tube, but I also don't like being on camera, I'm a bit shy 🙂

Oh god hive is horrific at least steemit only doesn’t upvote you if you don’t follow the list of rules and be exclusively hive actively downvotes you and a bunch of about ten whales who had usernames way befofe the platform even started can essentially take away 200 peoples support. If you post on steemit and hive you’ll be downvoted there to 0 and rep destroyed. It’s way worse. The others simply don’t earn enough to be exclusive. Unless your a casual blogger just taking a few shots on the way to work if your genuinely a creative or content creator you won’t want to be exclusive to steemit so will essentially earn pennies and cents and if you are exclusive you’ll get a bit more but not enough to actually grow and build a successful vlog. YouTube travel vloggers for example can spend thousands on videos before taking profits this growth just doesn’t seem to be here and ppl actually seem to want to limit it more and more. I think as much as I wanted to beljebe on them they are just for a few extra pennies and to build something real better to stick in the real world applications.

You don’t have to be on camera for video you can film your screen, process etc and teach ppl how to do things they love that

Are there any other communities on steemit with less rules have you found? Like some art ones?

I have noticed that Hive is not afraid to downvote, lol 🙂 I've posted on there many times, but I’m not consistent. I also noticed that steemit and Hive want people to be exclusive with their content…meaning, I can't post the same render on both chains. I've seen people punished and downvoted on Hive when they did post the same thing. But I do understand, crypto is growing, and both chains are developing their own identity.

The video blogs are pretty cool, especially when they use drones in scenic locations. But I thought the same thing, them spending thousands on these videos and equipment. A lot of expenses…so revenue must be high to eke out a profit. I would like to think that Hive and steemit will grow enough to where people can make much more money. They are already bigger than they were 3 years ago, that's for sure. So I have hope.

I like posting my renders to @axeman’s art contests on the “WORLD OF XPILAR” community. There's not many rules…people are super nice…and there are small fun rewards if you win for the week :) In WORLD OF XPILAR, they do like participation, making comments on other people’s art. I make it a rule, per post that I submit, to comment on 7 to 10 people’s art. Which is pretty easy.

Blurt is the best as it’s got no downvotes and total freedom, but just not enough users or value rly, Steemit is ok now but at any point downvote wars can begin and it’s toxic af. I think it’s why hive is doing so poorly. About 70% of the users are splinterlands players to be honest if that app developed another chain hive would pretty much have no one. Bizarrely most ppl only know about Steemit still too and don’t even realise others exist. I was actually earning very highly on hive at least £60 a day at one point and upwards but even at that it was way too toxic it literally wouldn’t even be worth £1000 a day to me to be on there by the end. I could say all kinds that goes on there but can’t be bothered rly anymore but it is a horrible place to be. Any platform with a downvote I wouldn’t be exclusive on as your just building community that one person can take away tmrw if they rly wanted to.

I gave up a bit on Wox as I just get told over and over I’ll never get rewards unless I’m exclusive and I just wouldn’t commit to it I’ll do the odd thing but it never gets upvoted these days anyways so I just settle for my 1 dollar 50 auto votes and focus on YouTube rly

Whilst it’s not all about money I want to see the potential I can grow as a content creator else it becomes a waste of time rly. There was a point I was rly active and rly tried with this platform again but it just feels like hitting a wall unless your exclusive and 3 ppl like you. The wealth is just too concentrated here it makes it a bit boring rly. Like if me and you had 3 dollar upvotes e a lot more engaging IMO as it is almost feels a bit like begging.

I lived for 3 years next to this beach, walked and ran around the pond and in the forest many times, good video

Ah rly? Yeah I should have done a forest walk for sure
