AN EMERGING MINISTRY LEADER 2

1. "YOU THEREFORE MUST ENDURE HARDSHIP AS A GOOD SOLDIER OF JESUS CHRIST.
2. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier."

"And say to Archippus, “TAKE HEED TO THE MINISTRY which you have received in the Lord, THAT YOU MAY FULFIL IT.”
Colossians 4:17 (Legacy Standard Bible)

• Associating with wrong people.

• If you associate with a wrong person or people, It would show and cause a set back, both in your Life and Ministry.
• God will not bring to fulfilment what He has planned and intended to do, If any wrong person is found in your Life.
• Until you get rid of or separated with the wrong person or people, God would not move you forward:
  14 AND THE LORD SAID TO ABRAM, AFTER LOT HAD SEPARATED FROM HIM: “Lift your eyes now and look from the place where you are—northward, southward, eastward, and westward; 15 FOR ALL THE LAND WHICH YOU SEE I GIVE TO YOU AND YOUR DESCENDANTS FOREVER" (Genesis 13:14-17 NKJV).

• You might stay long in the captivity, marking time on the same spot, If you have a wrong person or people with you.
• God is definite and absolute, whatever instruction given you by Him has to be carried out with total Obedience. If an instruction given you by God is unheeded, the next thing is that you begin to experience disappoinment from every quarter.
• You have no choice to make. There is no sentiment about it. It is either you do God's Will or you lose, and forfeit your place.

• Your spouse and you in the Ministry.

• Let God build or train your spouse.
• There is this overprotective actions on the side of human beings generally. It is usual of believers, trying or making efforts to shield their loved ones from God's dealings.
• The truth is, If you do not allow God to change your spouse, deal with her; you will not move forward.
• Leave your spouse in God's hands. Let God work on her and mold her to whatever shape He sees fit for His purpose.
• You cannot move forward, make progress, even in your work or assignment; If you are over protective of your spouse. IF you do not allow God to do the necessary work of molding and shaping that would make her suitable for His purpose:
  20 But in a great house there are not only VESSELS OF GOLD AND SILVER, but also of wood and clay, SOME FOR HONOUR AND SOME FOR DISHONOUR. 21 Therefore if anyone cleanses himself [herself] from the latter, HE [she] WILL BE A VESSEL FOR HONOUR, SANCTIFIED AND USEFUL FOR THE MASTER, PREPARED FOR EVERY GOOD WORK" (2 Timothy 2:19-21 NKJV).

• A partner who is not well groomed may become a weight that is weighing you down in the ministerial race. And such would not allow you to experience speed in your ministerial assignment.
• Pray for your spouse, she is your partner in the Running of the race of Life and the fulfillment of your Ministry (Hebrews 12:1).
• Pray for your spouse and let God choose the way and manner to build or train her.
  IF you want to take the place of the Holy Spirit, you would have problem with God and her—your spouse.
• NOTE:

• Pray consistently for her.
• Do not stress on certain things which you would want God to do in her life.
• Pay attention to the work which God is doing or wanted to do, and allow Him to have His Way.
• Give God a free hand to operate.

• Admonishments:

• If you do allow God to choose the people that should be allowed or permitted in your Life, those whom to relate with, as you progress in God and the Ministry; you will avoid a number of setbacks and heartaches.
• If you allowed God and give your full support to Him in building your spouse, It would help her spiritual growth and that will speed your progress in the assignment.
• If she does understand the importance of what you are doing and give her full support, the progress of the work would be speeded.
• Know that God would allow different people at different stages of your Life and Ministry.
• You may need to drop some friends, for you to move to another level of your Ministry.
• If you choose to relate with some people, you may have to forget about progress in what you are doing.

• You will not fail in Jesus' name.
