12 I WILL FULFILL MY VOWS TO YOU, O GOD, AND WILL OFFER A SACRIFICE OF THANKS FOR YOUR HELP.
13 For you have rescued me from death;
you have kept my feet from slipping. So now I can walk in your presence, O God, in your life-giving light."
Psalm 56:12,13 (NLT)

• As a Believer, when you always go before God with a truckload of your needs all the time without minding or thinking of what you also can do for Him; His Kingdom on Earth, and other fellow humans who are in one need or another, It means you are being selfish.

  • God would not bless, or commit something important to the hand of a selfish Believer who focuses on his or her own life alone, without minding whatever of God: a relationship with Him, His Kingdom or work, and other fellow Christians (Philippians 2:4).

16 THEN he told them a story: “A rich man had a fertile farm that produced fine crops.
17 He said to himself, ‘What should I do? I don’t have room for all my crops.’
18 Then he said, ‘I know! I’LL TEAR DOWN MY BARNS AND BUILD BIGGER ONES. Then I’ll have room enough to store all my wheat and other goods.
19 And I’ll sit back and say to myself, “My friend, YOU HAVE ENOUGH STORED AWAY FOR YEARS TO COME. Now take it easy! Eat, drink, and be merry!” ’
20 “But God said to him, ‘YOU FOOL! You will die this very night. Then who will get everything you worked for?’
21 “YES, A PERSON IS A FOOL TO STORE UP EARTHLY WEALTH BUT NOT HAVE A RICH RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD.”
Luke 12:16-21 (NLT)

• When you made a Vow, endeavour to fulfil It:
4 WHEN YOU MAKE A VOW TO GOD, DO NOT DELAY TO PAY IT; For He has no pleasure in fools. PAY WHAT YOU HAVE VOWED—5 BETTER NOT TO VOW THAN TO VOW AND NOT PAY" (Ecclesiastes 5:4,5 NKJV).

  • Many people, Believers, vow when they had a need, but never thought of fulfilling or redeeming the Vow when their needs are met.
  • Do not Vow rashly, or in desperation. And whatever you do not mean to do, do not promise to do it. Remember, you are dealing with God Who knows all the intent of Heart, and not a Man or a Human (1 Chronicles 28:9).
  • You do not play or trick God. You cannot fool Him. Everything in your heart is bare before Him, even before you open your mouth to make the pledge or Vow.
  • I believe the best way to do it is, If you are inclined to pledge or Vow, ask the Holy Spirit to lead or tell you what to give or pledge, or Vow. He knows your size and capacity.
  • Even when you are inspired or stirred by the Holy Spirit to pledge or Vow what you did not have at the time you were making the pledge or Vow, He knows It would be made available for you, because God gives the Seed to Sow and the bread to eat:
8 AND God will generously provide all you need. THEN YOU WILL ALWAYS HAVE EVERYTHING YOU NEED AND PLENTY LEFT OVER TO SHARE WITH OTHERS. 9 As the Scriptures say, “THEY SHARE FREELY AND GIVE GENEROUSLY TO THE POOR. THEIR good DEEDS will be REMEMBERED FOREVER.” 10 FOR GOD IS THE ONE WHO PROVIDES SEED FOR THE FARMER AND THEN BREAD TO EAT. In the same way, HE WILL PROVIDE AND INCREASE YOUR RESOURCES AND THEN PRODUCE A GREAT HARVEST OF GENEROSITY IN YOU" (2 Corinthians 9:8-10 NLT).

• In vowing, which also is known as sacrificial Giving, whatever you give in such should be different from the usual or regular offerings which you give randomly or casually, at any other time.

  • Although, no offering or Giving should be done or given casually without a careful thought and consideration.
  • You might need to give, or pledge, or Vow, what is valuable and important to you, for the Giving to be considered a Sacrifice.
  • Pray before you give. Pray on your Seed, and name It. Ask what you desire to receive, and the essence why the Seed, or Gift, is being given; Or why the pledge or Vow, is made.
  • Know that It is God Who will reward you, as you give. Whatever the pledge or Vow you made, it is God Who will grant or bring to pass whatever you have asked; And grant the Grace to pay or redeem the pledge or Vow.
    • You will not fail in Jesus' name.
  • Whatever is not planted in your body that might be working against your health and wellness is cursed and completely uprooted in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
  • That hold sicknesses is totally broken in your life and never to rise again in Jesus' mighty name.
    Peace!

STEPS TO SALVATION
• Take notice of this:
IF you are yet to take the step of salvation, that is, yet to be born-again, do it now, tomorrow might be too late (2 Corinthians 6:1,2; Hebrews 3:7,8,15).
a. Acknowledge that you are a sinner and confess your Sins (1 John 1:9); And ask Jesus Christ to come into your life (Revelation 3:20).
b. Confess that you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you confess it with your mouth, Thus, you accept Him As your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10).
c. Ask that He will write your name in the Book of Life (Philippians 4:3; Revelation 3:8).

  • If you took the steps As highlighted above, It means you are saved—born-again. Join a Word based church in your area and Town or city, and be part of whatever they are doing there. Peace!
