WHAT MOVES GOD TO DO 2
- "Then Noah built an altar to the LORD, and took of every clean animal and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
- AND THE LORD SMELLED A SOOTHING AROMA. THEN THE LORD SAID IN HIS HEART, "I WILL NEVER AGAIN CURSE THE GROUND FOR MAN'S SAKE, although the imagination [intent or thought] of Man's heart is evil from his youth; nor will I again destroy every living thing as I have done.
- "While the earth remains, SEEDTIME AND HARVEST, cold and heat, winter and summer, and Day and night shall not cease."
Genesis 8:20-22 (NKJV)
• You have to pay the necessary price for whatever you desire in the kingdom!
THE other day someone was angry because I said Believers needed to pay a price for whatever they need.
HE said Jesus has paid the price, no other price is needed to be paid.
TRULY no other price is needed to be paid for the salvation of our soul, Jesus' sacrificial death takes care of that.
HOWEVER, for you to get along with God in your Walk with Him, you have to pay prices for whatever you want.
JAMES AND JOHN the two sons of Zebedee wanted a special place in Jesus' kingdom, although Jesus did not promise to give THEM, but He told them if they needed such a thing, they would need to drink the cup that He drinks. IN other words, Jesus was telling them they would have to pass through what He did pass through—they would be baptized with His baptism and drink the cup He drinks (Matthew 20:20-23).
THE baptism Jesus is talking about was baptism of suffering, and the cup of sorrow.
JESUS was telling them they would have to make sacrifices that will task them, cost them something: time, money, ambition, and even their lives.
THEY did promise to pay the price, and Jesus attested Or sanctioned it; THUS Or as a result of it, James was the first myrtyr, first to be killed for the purpose of preaching the gospel (Acts 12:1-3).
• We are not saved to be idle OR irresponsible in the Kingdom.
WE are saved to serve, work, task ourselves, and put in all our efforts and All we HAVE for the salvation of others—we are to build His kingdom on earth (2 Corinthians 5:18-20).
- If you want to be used of the Lord, you want His anointing on your LIFE in order to bless other people, you will not say Jesus has paid the price, He has fasted for you, thus you would not need to pray and fast for the anointing (Matthew 17:21; Mark 9:29).
- "Then one of the crowd answered and said, "Teacher, I brought You my son, who has a mute spirit.
- "And wherever it seizes him, it throws him down; he foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth, and becomes rigid. SO I SPOKE TO YOUR DISCIPLES, THAT THEY SHOULD CAST IT OUT, BUT THEY COULD NOT."
- And when He had come into the house, His disciples asked privately, "WHY COULD WE NOT CAST IT OUT?"
- So He said to them, "THIS KIND CAN COME OUT BY NOTHING BUT PRAYER AND FASTING."
Mark 9:17,18,28,29 (NKJV)
- Likewise, If you want a financial increase, you will not just quote the Scripture that says, "For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich" (2 Corinthians 8:9).
YOU have to give for you to experience financial lifting!
JESUS says: "GIVE, AND IT WILL BE GIVEN TO YOU: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your Bossom. FOR WITH THE SAME MEASURE THAT YOU USE, IT WILL BE MEASURED BACK TO YOU" (Luke 6:38).
YOU have to use Scriptures to interprete Scriptures, you will not take a Scripture out of context and say Jesus has paid the price, Therefore no price is needed to be paid again, AND yet you want God's blessings and lifting—that is irresponsibility, it is not done that way, you do not walk with God like that.
- Some would take a portion of the Scripture to back themselves up in the wrongs they wanted to do, in order to justify their disobedience and irresponsibility.
YOU have to be wary of those who go about with "Social Gospel" those who peddle erroneous doctrines that are not in line with the Bible.
• God will not force anyone to do His will.
YOU choose to do God's will, obey Him, willingly—not by being forced (1 Peter 5:3).
- Noah provoked God to pronounce a blessing on him and his descendants, and to establish a covenant with him and all living creatures (Genesis 9:8-17).
YOU can move God, provoke Him, to do something good in your life, through sacrificial giving. - When it comes to giving of offerings, it has categories: there are regular givings as well as instructional givings.
REGULAR GIVINGS are the givings mentioned in the Scripture that every believer ought to obey: tithes, worship offerings, project offerings, mission offerings, and so on.
AND INSTRUCTIONAL GIVINGS are givings which God instructed you specifically to do, through one of the ways or means which He communicates with His children—or gives you an impression Or a burden to do. - You will need to move beyond the regular givings of tithes and offerings for God to cut a covenant with you.
- Ask God what He would want you to do in order to move you to another level of BLESSINGS, anointing, Or whatever.
- Every rising in the kingdom is premised on your obedience to the instructions given YOU by God.
ARE you ready to part with what you have in order to get WHAT He has for you?
YOU have to part, lay down something vital and precious in order to move UP (John 10:17,18).
- "but He made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.
- And being found in appearance as a man, HE [Jesus] HUMBLED HIMSELF AND BECAME OBEDIENT TO THE POINT OF DEATH, EVEN THE DEATH OF THE CROSS.
- THEREFORE GOD ALSO HAS HIGHLY EXALTED HIM AND GIVEN HIM THE NAME WHICH IS ABOVE EVERY NAME."
Philippians 2:7-9 (NKJV)
• You will not fail in Jesus' name.
Peace!
