Mice aren't as friendly as hamsters also mice kind of stink compared to hams. Too bad hamsters only live a couple years. This guy is maybe around a year old so far so he has plenty of life left.

But I can’t live without animals, so I have Persian cats.
Yeah its sad when they die but if at least they lived a good life.
