Yes your points are all perfectly valid. My term for my position is trying to get the currency out of the token. It is one of those things that gain and loose influence over time. The developer/computer scientist and the investor/trader/HODLer. There seems to be room for another sister chain. It would need a different raison d'être to bring the user base to use the governance.
