RE: VA ARREST Follow up - Filing Complaint Against Officers Through OIG Hotline
We were filing a complaint from an incident that happened a year prior. We were detained unlawfully and taken to a back room where we were told the only way we would be taken to jail is if we deleted the footage on our camera's. The footage was of us in the publicly accessible areas of the building. We were detained and cuffed for filming. They made us delete our footage if we didn't want to be arrested. They have now acknowledged that it is OK to film in the same areas. If it's OK now then it was OK then the bill of "rights" hasn't changed in the meantime.

I sadly don't have the time to watch your video, what was the complaint?
I guess is to add "not" before taken to jail, right?
We were arrested for not presenting ID. We had committed no crime nor been accused of any crime. We were lied to about our access to the facility and not given any reasonable articulatable suspicion of a crime we were committing or about to commit. Our complaint was based off of this incident.
