What is BTC Lightning? + Upcoming Giveaway

*Disclaimer: This isn’t some contractually binding statement, I’m just planing an informal giveaway (with absolutely no guarantees) for those interested in experimenting with such technologies.

So, what is the Bitcoin Lightning network? In short, the lightning network is off chain network in which individuals can transact promised Bitcoin to be updated on the blockchain whenever they see fit. Though lightning is somewhat experimental and underutilized, it allows individuals near instant transactions at next to nothing for transaction costs.

Anyway, the best way to learn more about something like this is to experiment with it yourself. Sometime Friday I intend to post a longer explanation and tutorial and as well as do a giveaway where I send a very small amount of lighting to those who are interested in experimenting.
