Russia no doubt had to prefer Trump to Hillary because Hillary was actually saber-rattling against them, but all the election meddling mythology and red-bating that been going on is an absurd distraction dreamed up from minds that haven't had an original thought since the cold-war.
I wouldn't be surprised if Russia preferred Biden to Trump just because the Obama-Biden regime had been slightly more agreeable with Russia than Trump. Being agreeable with foreign nations in this case isn't a bad thing, although the difference is mostly negligible. It's absurd mythology that Putin is lurking in the shadows fucking up everything in the United States, Putin isn't exactly a great human being, he's a corrupt jackass with a lot of power, but he isn't a demon lurking in the shadows controlling Trump, Bernie, and Jill Stein... or waiting to turn the U.S. power grid off in the winter.
