Rogue Lords Full Book 1 Playthrough - Let's Use the Power of Hell to Cheat!

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, and all those that may fall in between!

I am No Time Dad and today, I bring you my full playthrough of Book 1 from the Rogue Lords closed beta.

This is a new Roguelike where you play as the Devil. You dispatch your disciples to do your bidding. In the beta/demo, you have access to Dracula, The Headless Horseman, and Bloody Mary. You navigate a map that is very influenced by Slay the Spire, though you get to move about in a beautifully designed world.

The combat encounters consist of turn based combat. Each character has two separate health bars, health points and spirit points. Reducing either of these to zero places the character into a vulnerable state for that bar, and any further damage to that bar will cause them to perish.

The most interesting mechanic to this game though, is Diabolic Essence, which you spend to cheat the game. You can reduce an enemies HP/SP bar, move buffs/debuffs between characters, open a portal to a different map location, reroll bonus encounters, and so much more.

This is a game I am definitely picking up at launch.
