At and Around the Plaza de España in Sant Cruz de Tenerife - With Snow Dome!

We came with zero expectations when we arrived in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. For some reason we thought it's going to be super touristy and it is to some extend, hence the giant cruise ship parked at the harbor. But for some reason we really liked our first visit to Santa Cruz. First stop was a walk from the parking lot over to the Plaza de España, with it's huge fountain. A great spot to just hang out and people watch.

Also don't miss out the slow motion footage in this video of kids sledding down a fake snow hill right next to the plaza. Just the idea of snow on Tenerife is absurd unless of course you're on top of the Teide mountain.
