First Canadian cryptocurrency exchange to acquire IIROC registration is Coinsquare.

There is currently a backlog of applications for the IIROC, which all cryptocurrency exchanges must register with in order to operate in Canada.
The Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) accepted Coinsquare's dealer registration and IIROC membership on October 12, according to the country's oldest cryptocurrency asset trading platform. With this regulatory status, Coinsquare will become the first IIROC-registered investment dealer and market participant in Canada to focus solely on cryptocurrencies. The staff at Coinsquare wrote:
