17 Years Sobriety Anniversary at the Ullapool Guitar Festival

I reached 17 years of sobriety on 9 October, as well as 20 years of marriage. That tells a tale about my first three years of marriage. I'm super grateful to my wife for sticking with me and being my rock.

The festival was very restorative, although it did take me Friday night and up till teatime on Saturday to get comfortable in my own skin. Once I did, my soul's nourishment picked up quite quickly.

The music at Ullapool is as good as it gets. There's just such a vibe about the place - everyone feels it and it comes across in the expression. A truly magical festival that I hope continues for many years.
