If you Build it, they will come - sand sculpture timelapse

Here is a timelapse video of the sand sculpture project from Dublin castle 2007.
The video shows the whole project from the deserted court yard to pulsating crowds. It is so nice to see everything take shape from a birds eye view. To see the public become more and more interested is also fun.

The photos were taken with an old 1mp kodak digital camera which I hardwired a timer circuit to. I'm surprised how reliable it was and even though the resolution wasn't great it is cool to see the whole process from beginning to end.
