I was doing some curation on DTube over the weekend and found some interesting channels with awesome videos. The only trouble is, I couldn't tell if it was the content creators uploading/sharing the content to DTube, or if it was plagiarism/ID Theft.
In this video I talk about one way to resolve this issue so people like me can feel comfortable rewarding such videos on here.
Of course it's your channel and you can do whatever you want with it. That goes without saying.

You're right about this Ade most of these creators spam the chain with multiple videos per day that's how I know they're not the creator of these videos and I don't curate such, it's a hard job being a curator, hopefully a lot of new incomers can embrace Originality and be well mention dtube at least or show their faces in their vlogs on hive and twitter and dtube too.
The platform makes it very easy to present other people's content. I hope some awesome content creators will mention DTube and have their rewards increased.
Yep, absolutely right. The plagiarism question is really hard to figure out and due to that I have the same issue, don't know who really deserves the support. Mentioning dtube like you said certainly helps new joiners to verify and to spread the word at the same time. Let's see if some will follow your advice 👍🏻

You are absolutely right ... looks like there are tons of plagiarised content coming into dTube since it literally takes zero effort to copy and paste the video over. I wonder if their next video will start getting them shouting Dtube Dtube Dtube Dtube !!! that would kinda be hilarious to see

Yes! This is a real issue. I have suspicions about many of the vids being stolen. They could leave a link in their vids descriptions or on their YT channel page.
Some of them don't even bother and just post the link directly from someone else's YT channel. At least the person is getting the views in that sense lol
