The story of OG kush is something I am very familiar with, way before the internet helped spread more myths surrounding the legend Og kush. Also I was getting the real Og back in the mid 2000's, and till this day that is the best bud I have ever smoked.

So it was grown in So Cal, and a group of friends of the grower got to smoke, and one of the guys said, "damn this is some good stuff, it must be grown up in the mountains", referring to humobolt county, but the grower said, "Nope, it is ocean grown!" So thats what the Og stands for. Im not so sure on the strain info, but i do beleave it is a pheno of Chemdawg, which is bag seed from some bud from a great full dead concert. Lots of mystery, due to it being illegal, so its a shame we will never fully know. One thing thats for sure, Og kush is the back bone of today's great herbs. Its also a great fucking story.
