Lago Di Garda

Hallo liebe Steemians,

auf gehts zu einer neuen Tour um die Welt. Heute reisen wir mal wieder in eines meiner Lieblingsländer Italien. Und hier hat es mir gerade der Garadasee angetan. Schnell zu erreichen, tolle Landschaft, gutes Essen und viele Möglichkeiten etwas zu unternehmen. Lasst Euch überraschen.

Let's go on a new tour around the world. Today we travel once again to one of my favorite countries Italy. And here it has me just the Garada Lake. Quick to reach, great scenery, good food and many opportunities to do something. Let me surprise you.

Wichtig als Ausgangspunkt für die täglichen Erkundungen ist natürlich ein schönes Hotel, wenn möglich mit Pool und etwas Abseits der großen Touristenströme.

Important as a starting point for the daily explorations is of course a nice hotel, if possible with pool and a little away from the big tourist crowds.

Wenn man dann noch einen der wenigen Sandstrände in der Nähe erwischt kann eigentlich nichts mehr schief gehen.

If you then catch one of the few sandy beaches in the vicinity, nothing can go wrong.

Eine ideale Ausgangsposition für den Gardaseeurlaub bietet Malcesine etwas Oberhalb der Seemitte auf der östlichen Seeseite. An sich schon extrem schön, hat man hier aber auch die kürzesten Wege zu den Ausflugszielen rund um den See. Hier das Schloss von Malcesine von einer Bootstour aus.

Malcesine offers an ideal starting point for a vacation on Lake Garda, just above the center of the lake on the eastern side of the lake. Extremely beautiful in itself, but here you also have the shortest routes to the excursion destinations around the lake. Here the castle of Malcesine from a boat trip.

Genau gegenüber befindet sich Limone mit seiner alkoholischen Spezialität Limoncello, einem Zitronenlikör. Lecker.

Just across the lake is Limone with its alcoholic specialty Limoncello, a lemon liqueur. Delicious.

Hier kann man auch an jedem Haus die dicht mit Blumen bewachsenen Balkone bewundern und den wöchentlichen Markt besuchen.

Here you can also admire the balconies densely covered with flowers on each house and visit the weekly market.

Und zwischendurch darf natürlich zur Stärkung eine Platte mit fangfrischem Fisch aus dem See nicht fehlen.

And in between, of course, a plate with freshly caught fish from the lake may not be missing.

Ein ganz besonderes Highlight ist auch die alte Römervilla in Sirmeone ganz am südlichen Ende des Sees. Hier gibt es auch das weltbeste Eis zu verkosten. Hierfür sollte sicher einen Tagestrip einplanen.

A very special highlight is also the old Roman villa in Sirmeone at the very southern end of the lake. Here you can also taste the world's best ice cream. You should plan a day trip for this.

Ebenso wie ein Ausflug zum Lago Di Tenno, einem kleinen Badesee oberhalb der nördlichen Seespitze. Ist noch immer ein Geheimtip.

As well as a trip to Lago Di Tenno, a small swimming lake above the northern tip of the lake. Is still an insider tip.

Und zum Abschluss dann nochmal etwas für den Magen. Eine Pizza Calzone, einfach weil es so lecker ist!

Es gibt noch so unglaublich viel zu sehen und zu erleben hier, das würde den Rahmen sprengen. Ich kann jedem einen Urlaub am Gardasee empfehlen, hier kann man die italienische Lebensart hautnah spüren.

There is still so incredibly much to see and experience here, that would go beyond the scope. I can recommend a vacation at Lake Garda to everyone, here you can feel the Italian way of life up close.
