구슬붕이 꽃이 앙증맞게 피었네요. The bead-flowers are blooming cutely.

Little light purple fairies(bead-flowers) with bright smiles catch the foot of a traveler. When spraying on the sunny ground, the bead-flowers make me automatically sits down on the field and makes me bow my head. The flower does not care about the cold and is satisfied with the sunlight. The temperature difference is severe day and night, so I am worried that it will freeze on a cold night. Bead-flowers are also called 'fun kids' or 'good news' in Korea.

해맑은 미소를 오롯이 머금은 숲 속의 작은 연보랏빛 요정들이 재롱을 부리듯 나그네의 발길을 잡아끈다. 양지바른 땅위에 살포시 고개를 든 구슬봉이는 나를 저절로 길섶에 주저앉혀 나직이 고개 숙이게 만든다. 심술궂은 꽃샘추위에도 아랑곳하지 않고 하루 햇살에 만족하며 나지막이 꽃을 피운 구슬봉이는 초롱불을 한데 모아 주위를 밝히는 봄의 전령이나 진배없다. 밤낮으로 기온차가 심한데 행여 추운 밤에 얼어붙지나 않을까? 구슬봉이는 구슬붕이라고도 불리며 예쁜 꽃만큼이나 귀여운 꽃말을 갖고 있다. ‘재롱둥이’와 ‘기쁜 소식’이 꽃말이다.
