Gosaldo-Veneto -Italy

Gosaldo (Gosàlt or Goràlt in the Agordino dialect) is a charming village in the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located between Conca Agordina and Val del Mis in the Province of Belluno, Veneto Region.

By convention it is considered part of the Conca Agordina, although its territory is largely located in the context of the basin of the upper valley of the Mis torrent (the Mis valley), a tributary of the Piave. The Municipality of Gosaldo occupies a particularly large portion of territory (48 square kilometers), a large part of which is included in the extraordinary landscape and natural context of the National Park of the Belluno Dolomites, a protected natural reserve of the Italian State. The Municipality of Gosaldo borders the Municipality of Sagron Mis in the nearby Primiero in the Province of Trento (Autonomous Region of Trentino - Alto Adige) and is separated from the San Martino di Castrozza valley by the Cereda Pass.
