Greetings from YEESJA,
we are taking part this day on the EARTH DAY CONTEST. The most important part of this contest is to educate and teach the world around us on the importance of restoring our EARTH.
Yeesja organized Earth Day activity this day 14/04/2021 at Mulang a quarter in Bamenda Northwest region of Cameroon.
The total participant in the Earth day activity were 86 member made up of:
- 3 volunteers working in the yeesja office at Ntarinkon
- 82 children and women( who are all IDPs benefiting from the Bamenda uplift program at Yeesja)
- My self mukum vicram Ndagha the continental president of Yeesja.

We planted 12 new trees in cement bags, we used cement bags to demonstrate to the world that, in urban areas where the value of land is high and not available to everyone, we can still manage the little space we have to improve our environment beautifying them with trees and flowers.
The children were all happy as I demonstrated the planting and gave them trees to also plant. They promised to always plant fruits around the houses so as to contribute in their own way to restore the Earth.

We ended with very cleaning hands, washing them with running water to prevent ourselves from any danger.

This is excellent @yeesja. Environmental education is the key to environmental action and we are very inspired that you didn't only teach them how to #RestoreEarth but also engaged them in restoring Mother Earth. We are truly inspired with this initiative and proud of your actions @yeesja.
We also realized you were engaged in a Steemit awareness raising campaign. Steeming and greening are OMG! By the end of the month, we shall be launching a Global Tree Planting intiative known as Steemit Trees. An initiative aimed at using the power of Steem to plant trees to fight climate change and promote sustainability around the globe. Stay tuned to this upcoming initiative!
