Greetings everyone.

Gender equality is one of the major issues we have in my country Nigeria. The men always look down on the women saying their place is in the kitchen even when they try so hard to see that things work out well but they are being used and letters will be ignored.

How can you help your community forge a gender-equal world?

I grow up in the northern part of the country where in those days women were regarded as not important and could not hold any position both in government and the private sector with time it began to change as to how the development came about the people started to understand that a woman plays a vital place in the society. Only in some areas, religious rules are been taking strictly forbidding women to participate in some activities.

Most especially when it comes to politics I know numerous women that came out to breathe in one position or the other but in the end, they get disappointed simply because they are women. If I am in a position to balance this issue I will make sure that both genders have an equal right to participate in any section of society in that way everything will work well and all genders will live happily.

Another thing in which I will do is to educate women not to be just houses wife's but they should be useful in society and their various homes. I will try my best to educate them on how to fight for their right and also not to set back at home doing nothing, let them go out there and look for a job in other to support their husbands and children.

I will also educate the community at large on how to allow women to participate in some activities and also how it will be beneficial to them as well. For instance, when there are opportunities. It should not be restricted only to men, women should be allowed as well and if the woman will do better than the man then the opportunity should be given to the woman.

Can Celebrating In Women's International Day increase visibility and equality

women day celebration at the church on the 8th of March 2023

Women's international day is a unique day in which every woman seek visibility and equality, it's a day that states the right of women's involvement in society also women do not need to ask for right from anywhere seeking equal position or power. Gender equality needs to be worked on and not discrimination to increase the level of visible equality space.

What Do You Say About Women In Top Positions Like President, Senators, CEO, or COO? Give a Possible Example In Your country (community)

In Nigeria to say we have had women who have achieved greatly in history past till date and are still functioning at their best, great women such as Ngozi ewehla Ladi kali and the likes of others who have attained high positions in government and diaspora.

We also have queen Amina of Maria who was the first woman to rule one of the kingdoms called Zazzau, and she rule on the throne during the 16th century for 34 years. During that time she ensures the safety of all the hausa traders passing the Sahara region.

What Makes A Good Leader (Gender Or Merit)

In my perspective, a good leader is viewed based on his achievements, hard work, and most importantly his heart. It doesn't matter if it's a woman or a man, what brings greatness is how much one can sacrifice and be flexible, and transparent and also show the ability to be successful in life.

I invite @jasminemarry @mjerry and @ishayachris to come and participate
