Steemit Engagement Challenge S4-W4 | Music for steem

Hello steemians, I welcome you once again to my blog. Today is another week of the engagement challenge contest and I'm so delighted to relate with you all on this very topic“ Music for steem”

Music can be seen as an art that makes use of organized sounds in a time. It can also be described as the means of entertainment and expressing emotions in a significant form through elements of melody, sound combination, harmony, rhythm, and color in such a way that people will like and find it more interesting.

I listen to music every day. Except, I don't have power on my phone but as long as there is light I always play music even when I'm writing or doing my house chores, I do listen to music. Music is my companion it makes me feel good and forget about my worries. Music is just part of my daily life and I can't go a day without listening to music.

As a lover of music, I don't think there are any genres of music that I don't like except the words in the lyrics are not important or I don't understand the meaning of the songs. But once the lyric is clear and well understood then I enjoy listening to it. Mostly I like gospel music and I listen to it most often but I also love romantic music and hip-hop. One of the music I don't listen to is traditional songs, is not as if I dislike the songs but I don't often listen to them except it is live.

My favorite song is “All of me” by American singer John Legend. The song was released in 2013, and since I listen to that song, I fall in love with it. The song is all about love ooh yes, it is one of the best romantic songs I love the most, and I listen to it most often than known.

Ooh my God, I can't say the exact reasons why I love this song but as I said earlier I enjoyed listing to it because the words and the melody of the song are just unique. I just love everything about the music.

Oooh yes, I love live music. Live music brings out the natural melody and harmony in the song, there is no or less computerized effect. The live music I love the most is my tribal music, anytime I visit the village I always go to the market square to listen to their melodious song. They make use of drums made with animal skin and the sound always comes out very nice.

What makes me like a song is the lyrics. The lyrics of this song determined the melody to be used. when it is a sad song, it is accompanied by a soft landing melody, but when it a happy song it is being accompanied by a fast melody. But the lyrics of the song are like the heart of the music, It speaks to the listener and sometimes brings comfort. When I am sad, depressed, or weak, I know the kind of music I listen to makes me strong. As a writer am not carried away by the melody alone but I am very concise in the lyrics of a song.

I have been to numerous concerts since I was a child because I'm fun of music and I love to sing as well. but most of the concerts I do attend are organized in the church. The most memorable concert I have been to is the atmosphere of worship concert on the 11th of September 2022 in Kwara state Nigeria.

The concert was organized by my group at winners Church mubo. The program was so powerful, and all the sub groups, choirs we invited for the concerts sang very well, the atmosphere changed because of the songs and the Melody being played by the instrumentalist.

In conclusion, music is any sounds pleasant to the hearings, i enjoy listening to music and i enjoy singing as well. I invite @josepha @simonnwigwe @ishayachris and @sahmie to come and participate in this contest.
