Steem Cameroon Best Day Contest - Fun day at the office. 07-10-2023.

Greetings dear friends of steem Cameron community. I'm so excited to share my entry with you all via this lovely contest organized by the community on the theme: “Best Day”. We all indeed have some good and bad days within the week but what keeps of going is the best day and that will erase the memories of the bad day.

My best day was on the 29th of September 2023, I woke up in the morning as usual and took my meditation, took my bath, and headed to the office. And on this day I was running a shift called (S1), meaning I would work from 6 am- 12 pm and then log out. Then later log in by 6:30 pm- 10: 30pm in the night. After my first half, I went to the cafeteria to eat because I left the house too early without eating anything.

Reaching the canteen I saw the HR department arranging chairs, bringing out the sound speaker and other items. I was wondering what was actually going on, and when I asked I was told that today was a fun day for all the agents, we were ask to compete among ourselves by playing any of the games available. As for me, I enjoyed playing scramble and it's been a long time since I played the game so I decided to participate in the game.

Some of my colleagues were playing, the game of chase, while others were doing a spelling competition. Everyone was so excited including myself because there is a saying that says “All play without play makes Paul a dull boy”

We were four in number playing the scramble and luckily for me, I got the high school and our manager gave me a some of 2000 naira which I used part of the money to buy drinks for myself and my colleagues. It was indeed a fun day for me because I enjoyed every bit of it.

After the game, the head of the HR unit came up with an interesting game that everyone participated in. What was the game all about?🤔

He played a song and he gave us a small pillow to pass to ourselves once the music stopped the person holding it would come to the front and dance for us or sing a song.

It was fun because everyone was passing the pillow so fast that they wouldn't go out and dance. The game continued for an hour after which we we all went back to work.

I worked my remaining four hours after which I logged out and went home. Usually, we have a bus that will take us back home but the bus has to wait for this when logging out by 10:45 pm and for me, I was already exhausted so I decided to take a bike home.

In conclusion, engaging in those activities made me fulfilled that day, and it was the best day I spent during my working days at the office. The activities made me relieved from stress and frustration from some hard customers.
