The 27 Edition of the Mounth Cameroon Race of Hope took place yesterday Saturday 19 February 2022 in Buea Southwest region of Cameroon the town of the legendary hospital.

Following the deduction of taxes the winner went home with 8.9 million frs instead of 10 million frs.
The similar percentage was deducted from all winners of each category including the runners up.
550 athletes took part in the race the senior male, senior female, veteran, junior and relay categories. With the race course from Molyko to mount fako and back been 38 km.

Elvis Nsambila challenge the Chariots of the gods Efesa Moto to win the men senior category at exactly 4 hours 32 minutes 50seconds Gabsibuim Godlove 5 times winner of the race came second he took 4 hrs 34m 18 seconds to cross the finished line. In an interviewed he said he allowed Elvis to overtake him and taste victory for the first time.

In the female category Tata Carine made the race 5h 28m, 20 seconds only 30 seconds seperated kitah Mildred who came second with Tata Carine. Tumi Macrina came third she took 5h 44m 50seconds to win bronze.
Tata Carine is from Bui division just 24 years of age and she won her 4th title yesterday after winning in 2018, 2019 , 2020 .
