Former indomitable lion captain Regobert Song replaced the Portuguese man Anthonio Conceicao Da silva . The Cameroon football federation has decided not to continue with the bronze medallist at the CAN 2022.
The decision was made last evening February 28
via a press release. The Portuguese technician will be a greate absence in the world cup play off this month.
Song's arrivals ends 29 months of Conceicao stay at the helm of the National team dating back in September 2019 when he replaced Seedorf . 2 times African Champions in 7 apperance with 137 caps for the national team his arrivals barely 3 weeks for the final phase of world cup qualification.

Regobert Song is a former Cameroonian professional footballer and currently a coach.
He was a member of Cameroon National Team between 1993 and 2010.
He was a center defender and he could also play as a right back.
He played a record of 8 Africans tournament and served as a captain in 5.
He won 2 African cup of nations in 2000 and 2002.
In 2009 Song was dropped as Cameroon Captain by Paul Le Gwen .
Song is the most Capped player in the Cameroon National Team with 137 appearance.
Song has played 4 world cup competitions in 1994, 1998 , 2002 and 2010.

Song started his professional career with Metz and he helped the club to win coupe de la league in 1996.
After his appearance in the 1998 world cup he joint Salernitana the newly promoted top flight Italian seria A.
He left Italy for Liverpool in England ,West Harm United and 1 koln. After failing to hold a first team space he return to france to play for Lans he stayed there till 2004. And moved to Turkey where he spend 4 years with Galatasarsy winning 2 super league titlrs and the Turkish cup.
From there he went to Brabonsport where he worn another Turkish cup and stayed there till 2010.
Song is the youngest player in football history to be sent off in a world cup match. At the age of 17 and apart from Zinedine Zidan Song is the only player in world cup history to be sent off twice in a single competition.

After his legendary performance as a footballer Regobert Song went further to obtain a football coaching diploma from the prestigious clairefontaine in France in 2012 along side Zinedine Zidan and Claude Makele and many others.
Experience with Cameroon
In 2012 he was named the team manager of the indomitable lions. A role which gave him minor stebs in management.
Following the poor performance of the Cameroon team in the 2014 world cup the managerial staff was reshuffled and he lost his position.
After the insident there was a romour he was negotiating with chard to be head coach but all ended in the air.
He was offered a contract as coach in 2016 by Fecafoot president Tombi Aroko . Letting him be in charge of the selection of the home based players replacing Martin Pille who just crashedout of CHAN 2016 in quata finals.
CHAN 2018 was his first tournament experience
they were tie in a group with Congo, Angola and Burkina Faso .
They finished at the bottom with just a single point and a minus 2 goals.
He was replaced at the end of the tournament and appointed the coach of the under 23 team.
2019 Under 23 Afcon the seond tournament experience.
In a tough group with Egypt, Ghana and mali he mange to register 4 points in 3 games and was eliminated in group stage by goal difference.
After the competition he started complaining of grouping players just one week to the tournament.
He latter on went for 11 months without salary.
As a Coach he has not been productive as the fans and the population expect.
The 47 years olad French man Sabastien Migne will be Song deputy. Having a vast experience in African Football and has coached kenya 🇰🇪, Republic of Congo 🇨🇩, and Equitorial Guinea 🇬🇳. He was also headcoach of under 20 Drc Congo National team. He has been Claude Le Roy deputy several times.
47 years old Fivre Raphael is the new fitness coach of indomitable lions he is hugely experience in that domain he is the former fitness coach of France paris st Germaine . He has worked with big names like Antoine kombouare and Carlo Ancelotti at PSG
He gas also worked at Breast Bodaeux and Oman National team.

43 years old Augustin Simo is the second assistant coach of indomitable lions. The forme midfielder of the indomitable lions from 1995 to 1998 he participated in the 1998 world cup.qnd he retired football in 2014.
