I PREPARED MY FAVORITE DISH GARRI AND ERU.

Hello steemians greetings to everyone ,it's a great
opportunity partaking in another week Steemcameroon bestday contest . My best day of the week was on the WEDNESDAY12/05/2021 ,I PREPARED MY FAVORITE DISH GARRI AND ERU ,popularity known in Cameroon as one of the best dishes in Cameroon. on this very 12/05/2021 day at 9am i rushed to the market to buy some the foodstuffs and some ingredient ,I want to prepare Eru with,thank God I had Garri ,canda and meat in the house , that I already kept in the fridge,So what I needed to buy was Eru,dryfish and waterleaf , I hurrily bought the foodstuffs and came back home.

Eru and Garri is unique dish mostly prepared by all the Regions in Cameroon especially in the south west region of Cameroon even though I'm most regoins there mostly prepared but WATER FUFU AND ERU ,which is one their favourite dishes prepared not occasionally but on daily bases in most homes .These are the following ingridents used or I used in preparing Eru.

.Waterleaf
.meat and canda
. crayfish
.smoke fish or dry fish
.Redoil
.Salt and Maggi
.Pepper

THE PROCESS IN COOKING ERU

Put your sliced meat and canda on the cooker
Boil the meat and Canda until it get ready , put in your washed sliced Waterleaf inside the pot of your boiled meat and canda ,after 5minute minute open the put and put in your washed Eru ,make sure there is no much water inside pot,stare it with your wooden spoon or cooking spoon ,put your cryfish,smoke fish,pepper ,salt and Maggi stare it again , after few minutes check your pot ,you will discovere that the water is almost getting dry, put in your redoil and allow the Eru on on the cooker for 5minute , after taste the Eru if salt and maggi it's ok inside ,then off your Gas cooker ,Eru is ready ,please note you don't cover the pot put when you have put Your Eru in side the pot so that your Eru should have the greenish color when its ready , In addition your quantity of Eru should be esmaited with equantity of water leaf that can be enough with Eru,so that after cooking you will not discover that your Eru over soft.All these took me 45 to 1hour to prepare my Eru.

THE PROCESS IN COOKING YOUR GARRI

Put water inside the pot , put it on the cooker , the quantity of water should be according to the quantity of Garri, when the water boils remove some and put Garri inside ,used your cooking stick and turn garri with ,if it hard add hot boiled hit water inside for around 5mimute Stare it and later tie it inside the white rappen.

After preparing Garri and Eru I served my family with lunch ,I always enjoyed the meal because it is my favourite That why Wenesday 12/05 /2021 was my favourite,s day .
