Hurray!!!!! It’s another amazing contest. I hope we all in this platform are doing perfectly fine. I want to thank @Chant for putting up such a wonderful contest. I am very glad and will like to share in my point of view as per the guideline questions.

MARRIAGE is a legal and social union between a man and a woman bounded by laws, rules, beliefs and attitudes that defines each partners attitude towards the other. Marriage has to do with spiritual, emotional and physical closeness. Marriage was instituted by God for companionship and procreation, therefore, we should maintain this purpose for a healthy society.
CONTRACT MARRIAGE is a marriage based on specific terms such as marriage for a period of time like 1 years, also marriage for some benefits like finance etc.

This statement is part of the vow couples make during weddings. It has two parts and each part carry a great meaning which I will be explaining.
Firstly “For better and for worse”. What does this mean🤔?
This is a vow made at the alter by the couples promising each other to stay faithful and committed no matter what happens.

1 Corinthians 7:28 says “Those who marry will have worldly troubles.”

Life would not be smooth always there will be ups and downs soo this Part of this Vow is promising to keep the bond irrespective of what comes the way of the couples.

Secondly “Till death do us part”
By this the couples make a lifelong commitment to each other that death should be the only thing that separates the marriage union.

According to Genesis 2:24 “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh”.
Marriage is supposed to be unified in every way possible. By this I prefer marriage for life now and always😊.

YES I agree. This is because as both genders living in a house it is like a partnership where both genders assist each other, and there maybe times when one gender is not at the best health wise so it’s only right for the other to assist in the chores.

First of all we need to understand that no marriage is perfect. Every couple is unique, what worked for our friends or parents may not work for us and as such we ought to figure out the things that cause problems and things that gives peace and adjust. A few things to know and do inorder to build a strong and lasting relationship

• Focus on one another’s strength and not your weaknesses.
• Do not listen to what others have to say about what is wrong or right in your relationship
• Accept your flaws and change from them.
• Respect each other
• Avoid being Jealous for no reason. Etc.
  Most importantly;
• Wives be submissive to your husbands and Husbands love your wives.

To conclude, Marriage is about Commitment and not just love or emotions. Marriage involves two persons who have different roles to play, not equal and no role is lesser than the other. I believe the success of any marriage depends on both parties performing their roles without undermining the importance of the other person’s role. Trust also is an important factor that will lead to the union of two people. You can’t possibly marry someone you don’t trust.
