United Nations' World Health Day is culled from the happening of health around the world. In the time past, the health of the individuals swindled due to lack of care. The reason was the priority to human's health wasn't really considered.

As a result of these negligence, health of the masses including children and the less privileged were at stake because it can diminish anytime. It led to high mortality rate in the society. This continues until the United Nations in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) decided to mark out April 7 to celebrate World Health day.

The mascot above is a heart with a plus sign merged together. For gamers, we already know that the meaning which is health replenishment. That's why on this date, we are taught that our life is very valuable. That's why we need to replenish our health.

World Health day has made different changes in the society for the years. Here are the changes we have seen in the society courtesy of this day.

• Health Projects: Different projects were hosted and delivered successfully due to the immense date. Health projects like vaccination against deadly diseases like polio, measles, etc; reduced child mortality rate due to health facilities, etc.
• Sensitization and Awareness Program: This is another outstanding change world health day had brought to the society. Ignorance has brought a great deal of disasters when it concerns our health. But, World Health's day pave a way for the eradication of such ignorance. In this day, health practitioners teamed up the government to deliver health talks in remote villages to help create awareness for such people.

The active promoter of United Nations World Health's day is the United Nations (UN). Since it's inception in 1947, United Nations has took it as a point of responsibility to ensure that this day never goes into extinction. Another active promoter of this date is the individual countries in the United Nations. In Nigeria, this date is remembered every year.

In order to make this date a memorable one, I'll make sure that I help create health awareness in my locality. I do this in form of group talks, one to one conversation, etc.
