In the olden days, Women were classified as lower beings as men were the lord and superior over them. As a result of this, the discovery about science and other aspects by women were silenced because of this philosophy. The happening was counted as gender inequality as women weren't counted as major people in the society.
This continued until the United Nations decided to approve 11 of February annually to celebrate the achievement of girls and women in the world of science. This development helped to break the barrier of gender inequality.

This mascot I drew represent a confident and bold woman. This woman must be a member of a science society. The confidence she displayed is as a result of the recognition of women in the world of science. The wall of gender inequality has been broken which enable them (the female gender) to show their talent to the world.
It's Effect On The Society |

- Confidence Boost: The confidence boost has really affected the female gender positively. The confidence to showcase their talents and discovery is strengthened due to the activities of this day.
- Double Discoveries on both genders: The activities of women in the field of science has raised the strength of world's discoveries to x2. The male gender has succeeded in creating inventions and discoveries but the female gender has doubled the power. Notable female scientist like Maria Curie who discovered radioactive elements will have her name written for generations.
Who Are The Active Promoter And What Can Be Added To Create Impact To The Society |

The active promoter of International day of girls and women in science remains The United Nations. Since they initiated the program, they (The United Nations) has made sure that it is still in existence.
The change I will suggest that can add more impact to the society is the discovery of talents. Discovery of talent I mean the young generation of girls who has immense passion for science. They can raise and trained for the sole purpose of making life of individuals and the entire planet safe and healthy.
