What do I know about the day? |

World AIDS day is a day that reminds us of a deadly sickness capable of erasing a clan if taken care of properly. This AIDS is also known as Acquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome. This sickness is deadly at its peak because the first thing it attacks is the immune system. When it succeeds in destroying the immune system, the whole body is at its disposal. Back in 1988, this sickness caused a lot of tears in households and it became a talk of the town. That's when the United Nations had to set aside this day (1st December) to commemorate world AIDS day. It's important to know that the event is celebrated around the world annually.

What are the changes you think this day has brought to your community |

It's important to note that this day is important in the world because a breakout of a deadly disease is likely to wipe out a generation. Here are the contributions of this date to the society and the world at large.
- Public Sensitization: Someone once made a statement that if you want to eliminate something, then you must have proper warfare equipment to fight it. In this case, the people will know how deadly this virus is and see how to prevent it from infecting them.
- Clearance of Stigmatization: In our current world, if a person contacts a sickness, the first thing that appears in people's minds is how to run away. In this case, people see the infected people as those written in a death note. With this sensitization, people will learn to communicate and still live with the infected people without hurting them.
Who are the active promoter, and my impact to this day |

The active promoter of this day is Wod Health Organization (WHO). This body has handled this day since inception and made sure that this day doesn't go into extinction. Also other countries of the world are supporting and promoting it in their way.
For me, the way forward is sensitization in rural areas where mass media or social media is rarely seen. With this, they can also learn.
AIDS has and is still a deadly sickness, I can't even wish my enemy such a sickness because of how it attack the immune system.
