Creative Writing- Some Money Tips by @wase1234
Hello everyone, hope you all are doing very well. So today I am inspired to share with you some money tips. These tips are tips about managing money. Most of us find it hard managing money especially when when we think it’s too small to be managed. Yes I agree some amounts are hard to manage and things are now expensive at this times.
But let’s think about our parents back in the mid 90,s where to see money was literally harder than finding gold. Some managed to send their kids to school and build a house for themselves and even have extensive businesses.
Some of our parents practically started from scratch till where they are now. Without good management plus reinventing plus working hard and using their upper, all those achievements wouldn’t have been possible.
I will like to share some tips on money management. Well no idea if these are the tips that worked for other fathers but they definitely should work for us.
Some Money Tips
This one is quite simple just try to estimate what you spend on each and everything you use in your livelihood per month. Write it on a paper. Don’t leave anything out. Put a column for maintenance, clothing, groceries, shoes, bills etc.
You will be shocked at how much money you spend you spend one one particular thing. From there you can try to make a budget which will cut down the cost of what you normally spend.
You can also track your expenses by downloading a cash book app. Here you can input your revenues and expenses. You can also set a monthly budget so that as you spend, the value of the budget reduces. Then if you are serious you will adjust yourself to living with this budget.
Many at times when we get and increase in our revenue, we automatically want to update our lifestyle. It is very normal to feel this way but this isn’t the right this time do. Whatever amount you earn, your lifestyle should be worth at most 40% of that money. I am saying at most and what I mean by your lifestyle is your personal needs and dealings excluding unforeseen circumstances.
With doing this we see that we will have much to save and/or reinvest. The things is your lifestyle shouldn’t be the one speaking for you. It should be the financial backing you have set for yourself. Some people live lavish and have zero assets and zero investment which is very bad if the tables take a negative turn.
Money triggers are the things that trigger you to spend money randomly. These are the things that cause you to spend money you didn’t plan to spend on something which isn’t really that important. For example your friends will just call you to pull up on a day out where you have to spend a lot on that day and there you are pulling up and spending.
Don’t get me wrong. It is good to enjoy. Enjoy with what you have planned or set aside for enjoyment. These impulse buying and money triggers are the things that make you move out of your budget most of the time.
We should cultivate the spirit of resisting this situations.
Well that’s all I have for today, follow up for more money tips. Y’all stay safe.
