So in a lame man's understanding, election can be said to be defined a process in which people vote or elect the ones they want to be in power.
And having said that I will be talking about the electoral process in Nigeria.

What do you think about Elections in your country.

Well in my country Nigeria we don't joke with elections here.
we have a multi-party voting system.
And election is being done with the Nigerian permanent voter's card (PVC)
And without this card no one will be able to vote in anybody into power.
You need to be 18 years and above to be able to be issued a voter's card. and from my knowledge this card doesn't expires.

What do you think about the electoral system in your country?.

Election is being conducted every 4 years. each candidate have 4years in power that's a tenor, a candidate can decide to run for power a second time and be voted in, as the maximum is 2 tenors.

How is it done in your country?.

The voting process in my country is quite simple.

• First of all we need to acquire our permanent voter's card ( PVC ) which will be presented at the polling unit.

• This PVC's will be checked and accredited by BVAS (Bimodal voter accreditation system) to make sure that you actually registered.

• Next thing to do is to confirm that your name is among the registered voters for that particular polling units
So you don't waste your vote.

• Then the next thing to be done is to get authenticated. This is done with the use of the BVAS also and is done by either placing your fingerprints on the BVAS or by facial detection.

• After been accredited you will be issued out a ballot paper.

• After which you get your index finger stained with ink then locate any nearby cubicle and cast your vote, note your finger prints should be inside the space given besides the party you are voting for, because on staining any of the lines that vote becomes invalid.

• After voting, stand about 300 meter area to witness the counting of your votes.

Is it transparent and fair in your country

Unfortunately the electoral process in Nigeria has not been transparent and fair as there have been many cases of Rigging and stealing of ballot boxes.

Assuming there's no fairness and effectiveness as far as elections are concerned, what solutions can you propose to ensure its being carried out the right way

If only the accurate numbers of votes by accredited voters are being sent to the INEC official and nothing is being added or removed then voting in Nigeria will be free and fair.
As it is not good to impose a candidate on the Citizens, these candidates should be voted and chosen by the citizens themself and not being imposed on.

Conclusion

Thank you so much guys for taking out time to reading my post, I'm looking forward to your comments, votes and also looking forward to winning this contest.
