"Steem Cameroon Best day Contest - 19th December, 2023"

The first happy memory for the day was attending was getting to attend service in church together with my siblings. This is hardly ever the case as most times, one of us was either not around or not going to same church that day. This particular Sunday, we were all present and also decided to worship in the same church. Coupled with that, it was a thanksgiving service which would always remain evergreen in our memories. Indeed, moments spent with family are the best moments.

Second interesting part of the day.

Sundays are always work free days for me but this Sunday, I had an event to work at as an usher under our agency, D'Evergreens Agency. The event was a wedding reception which took place at a different town so we had to travel down to the precise venue for the work.

Traveling, no matter the distance is something I love so much especially when it involves going to a place I've never been and this was the case of Sunday. We were traveling to a different town I've never been to so I was super excited to be going for the work. On the way I of course fed my eyes with different views I could catch from the fast moving vehicle.

We arrived the venue on time to get prepared and stand in position before the bride and groom danced in. This was another prominent part of my Sunday. It was fun watching the couples display their dancing steps on their way to sit down.
During the course of the event, the MC called for a dancing competition for the bride and groom and the best dancer was to with a cash prize from the chairman of the event.
This was where the real dance began as I watched as the bride struggled to dance properly in her gorgeous close fitted gown. The groom on the other hand wasn't the best of dancers and that was obvious in dance steps. This gave the bride an upper hand and she was chosen as the winner.
Watching of these, I never forget I had a work which brought me there and that I did perfectly well.
To make the event even more fun, the MC organized a competition between the bridesmaids and the groomsmen where they were asked to get random objects or things like shoe, spoon, wig, money, and the likes from the audience and the last two get it would leave the game.

This was quite fun, seeing the competitors running through the audience in search of what was asked for by the MC.
As an usher, I wasn't involved in the games but I definitely had a great time seeing how they were played and this is part of the reason why Sunday is my best day.

In conclusion, the activities that made the day my best day are; attending Sunday service with siblings, travelling to another town and enjoying the fun-filled wedding reception.
