A home, to start with, is one's habitat. The place where you live especially with family members, a place where you're very free to be yourself without the fear of judgements.

It's a place where we create loving memories which we can look back to and smile.
There's no place like a home for a home is a safe heaven.

A successful Home

A successful home could bring different ideas to different people but in my opinion, a successful home is more than just a roof above your head.

It is a home where love is the foundation, a home that prioritizes unity and the wellbeing of the family members irrespective of the situation they find themselves. A home you can run to and turn to at your lowest and highest times, that's a successful home.

A successful home is built bit by bit and doesn't just happen like that. The people in a home are the ones that make worth calling a successful home.

Do you agree that a good society is determined by the number of successful Homes built?

Yes!
A home being the bedrock and basic unit of a society has so much influence on the society and determines how such society turns out to be.

A society with a high number of successful homes makes a successful and good society. Everybody individual that make up the society comes from a home, so the kind of grooming and mindset you develop at home is what you take to the larger society and make it what it is.

Therefore, in order to build a good society, you must first build a good or successful home.

Pillars of a Successful Home.

Asides love, patience and trust, some other pillars I believe can contribute to a successful home are;

  • Good communication: to build a successful home, good communication must be a key factor to consider. When there's a good level of communication in the home, you can express yourself completely and clearly, explain your thoughts and feelings to one another and look at how to make things better.

A family that lacks good communication is already on its way out if a successful path.

  • Understanding: this another pillar of a successful home and goes hand in hand with empathy. Understanding and empathy in a home promotes good living and relationship among members and fosters unity without unnecessary judgements.

  • Supportiveness: a successful home should consist of supportive members, people who can always be by your side at all times. This quality differentiates a successful home from a broken home where you're mostly on your own.

  • Respect: respect, they say is reciprocal. Respect me just as I'm respecting you. To build a successful home, you should be ready to respect one another, both small and big, respect them, their privacy and their feelings. This will in turn, increase their respect for you too.

When looking forward to building a successful home, you should be careful not to use the wrong bricks like hatred, this could destroy the entire building.

What are the impacts of a broken home on society?

Just like a successful home makes a good society, a broken home is bound to make a bad society.

Most broken homes bring forth individuals who lack sufficient parental care and attention, children who are deprived of adequate educational background, children who engage in drugs and many other forms of impropriety.

When these individuals get into the society from such homes, they tend to continue living the way they were brought up and this in no doubt will have a negative effect on the society at large.

Broken homes therefore, impacts the society negatively and makes it inconducive for living.

Yeah.. Support.. This is one of the major reasons why most marriages tend to last. Some mates expect the other to do everything alone since he's the man...... In a situation where this occurs especially in a middle class home, they'll be dispute which can lead to broken home. Thanks for sharing and inviting me

I couldn't agree more.
Support is definitely needed from both parties and even from other family members to build and grow a home.

Thanks for reading through, I look forward to reading from you.

I love the facts you're giving here, the writings looks perfect and great and also sharing knowledge of having a successful home. Because most homes are broken because they lack the knowledge of control.
@usoro01 I love this
