Steem Cameroon Contest - My Short Movie Script: Politics (The School with the unknown Principal)

Politics generally involves the activities associated with running of the government, organisation, country or area. This usually involves arguments or debates between parties possessing political power aiming at arriving at an agreement.

Every organisation that has an hierarchy of power especially in a democratic settings, there is usually political activities among the political parties.

Title: Tribalism

Chief Effiong: The disciplinary Master of Advanced Highschool

Mr Ubong: The vice principal administrative of Advanced Highschool

Mr Udo: The vice principal academics of Advanced Highschool

Musa: A Hausa corper in Advanced Highschool

The Proprietor: The propietor of Advanced Highschool

The settings opens to a luxury restaurant. The fancy chandeliers dangling from the ceiling illuminated the entire room. There were silk curtains hanging at the windows. The smell of champagne and and sweet smelling flowers rested in the air.

There was a long table in the middle of the room with fancy chairs carefully arranged beside it. There room was currently empty but not for too long. Chief Effiong and Mr Ubong chatted while walking in.

Chief Effiong: Ah! Ubong you made it. Do you know why this meeting was called.

Mr Ubong: Oh Effiong my brother! Not so sure. I also just received the invitation from the propietor. Heard some rumours too.

(Just then a dark skinned man with tribal marks walked in accompanied by a waiter)

Chief Effiong: Ah Mr Udo, you are here too?

Mr Udo: Oh Effiong my brother, you are here too. The proprietor must have invited you too. Why the invitations?

Mr Ubong: Heard some rumours though. I think we would be meeting the new principal finally. That should be why he called for this meeting.

Chief Effiong: Oh yes! That's true! It is long overdue. It's high time we met this mysterious principal.

(They were still chatting and laughing amongst themselves when A skinny man in an Hausa attire walked in. The room instantly felt silent as they began murmuring amongst themselves)

Chief Effiong: Isn't that Musa, the Hausa corper? Why is he here too? The proprietor couldn't have invited him? Do you think he is following us?

Mr Udo: That too goody shoes! Musa why are you here? (He turned to Musa and yelled. Just then the propietor walked in)

The Proprietor: Is everyone here? ( He cleared his throat walking over to a seat) Good news people, meet our unknown Principal (he gestured at Musa who was at a distance away)

Chief Effiong, Mr Ubong and Mr Udo stared dumbfounded. They knew they were in big trouble. They had been particularly tribalistic and ostracise Musa because of his religion and tribe thinking he was just a corper
