Steem Cameroon best day contest. 11/04/2021

One doesn't need to go to the moon and back to have a best day, Some times just doing ordinary things which you hardly get the time to do, could make a day your best day.
Last week Saturday the third of April, was my best day of the week.
I woke up in the morning, still feeling sleepy because i had been awake late at night watching TV. My eyes hurts and i could have given up anything, for a two hours sleep but when duty calls one has to answer so lazily dragged myself out of bed, took a cold bath in other to shake the sleep away, brushed up, and drank a glass of water before leaving for the market. It was five minutes to seven when i left the house, but i was so lucky that i didn't have to treck for long before i saw a bike.By 7:10am, i had already arrived at the market and opened the shop.
My day went on as usual, just serving one customer after another. At Around 12pm, i ordered some food, Garry and eru which i ate and went back to work.

I spent most of my time, selling and chatting with customers till it was 5pm when i closed. I was strolling home with my two cousins and since it was still daylight and we had some time before night fall, we decided to take a walk to Pako Vita.
Pako Vita is a site that was constructed for leisure and sports.It has a football, basketball, volleyball and handball field as well as a play ground and space for other activities, not forgetting the garden and even thick bushes. The whole area is a national treasure.
I lastly visited Pako Vita six months ago but due to the rapid spread of the Corrona virus, the place was closed.
My cousin Diland told me that it had been reopened so we decided to check it out.

When we arrived, it had been reopened and we went in to take a look even though we had just about 45minutes to be there .Because the site had been closed off to the public for long, it had grown more beautiful with wild flowers and over grown grasses which gave it and air of nature.
Since the site is found on a slope, we could feel the rush of the wind, and the air felt fresher. With the birds chipping and the wind blowing the flowers too and fro under the setting sun, this felt like a place where one could come to reflect or meditate.
I really wished that day never ended, but as places grew dark, we decided that, it was time to go home so we reluctantly left but, were so happy that we made time to be one with nature.
Personally, i left with a new perspective on how beautiful nature is and i think the beauty of nature is really underated.
It was a wonderful day.
