SOME OF MY EDUCATIONAL REFORMS IF I WERE TO BE MADE MINISTER OF EDUCATION

Hello fellow steemians, it's an honour as i partake in yet another great contest caption "Educational Reform"

As i partake, What is Educational Reform? Firstly it will be important for many to understand and note that reform can be in many forms and not just at the educational level. In most cases in our economy, you would find reforms such as,

1. Structural Reforms Initiatives
2. Fiscal Reforms
3. Infrastructure Reforms
4. Capital and Money Market Reforms.

Having the above examples of types of reforms and just to have a clue, what is reform?

"Reform means the improvement or amendment of what is wrong, corrupt,unsatisfactory, etc."

In Education, it Talks of;

"any planned changes in the way a school or school system functions, from teaching methodologies to administrative processes."

Still and in respect of this contest i will like if we as well would look at what make reform in our school system so important as i will be taking on my own view to the kind of improvement or amendments i will like to see in education and more especially in the Cameroon context.

SOME IMPORTANCE ABOUT EDUCATIONAL REFORM.

1. New teaching techniques are unfolded
2. learner get to be expert in thier field of study
3. It leads towards a socially and academically progressive future.

My take on reform in Cameroon:

Teachers should be given the privilege and option to introduce new topics in to the pedagogic system. Thus, this should be one of the first steps toward a positive change in our Cameroon system of education whereby it's not only the central givernment that takes all of the decision and srceenning but would always provide the once employed with the opportunity to do something supportive by sending primary data from the ground. I being the minister of education, i will provide this teacher that medium whereby they can be able to express that they are having in mind.

Next, students should be given the opportunity and privilege to be able to access all of thier school documents in thier respective regions whereby they resite. For instance, if a student has writing a public examination in a particular center and the town in which this person resided for that examination, it will be important that when his or her documents are being send, let all but not one be send and not that one is issue in that center and the other is to be collected in another region. e.g when you look at how Cameroon handles the HND level of certificate is very aching because i won't see why trans scrips have to be send and certificates to be collected in y'de. My plegde that i being the miniter of education is about providing the concern with the comfort at all level of education to be able to have access of all thier documents.

Still If i were to be the minister of education,
students will be needing a well rounded education that includes unbiased science curriculums, a greater focus on the arts, and of course history needs to be taught how it really happened instead of the white washed, “patriotic” version the education system has now.
