WHERE IS BAMENDA FOUND IN THE NORTHWEST REGION OF CAMEROON

Bamenda as well known, is a city/town in the heart of the NORTHWEST REGION OF CAMEROON. Bamenda is also known in its native name by outsider and insiders as ABAKWA and MANKON TOWN. This can be searched from the internet to have a clue to what I’m saying of the names.

Bamenda is a town that has been for ages and its being found among some three villages called Mankon, Bamendankwe and Nkwen. This town is one among many in the Northwest region of Cameroon having the highest population and with the highest number of English speaking Cameroonian.

WHAT MAKES THIS TOWN SO IMPORTANT?

Straight away, I will be listing some and if not all, the important things which makes the town of Bamenda more unique and special in its own way than other towns in Cameroon and it’s also being seen to be its culture.

THE COLD CLIMATIC CONDITION.

For decades now, many Cameroonians and coupled with foreigners have in many times testify about the fresh and cold climatic condition of this town and more especially in the raining season. Also, the town has the culture of tree planting which is one of the things which impacts the town in one way or the other more especially to fight against climate change.

THE MAGNIFICIENT INFRASTRUCTURE.

As one of the major towns in the north west region of Cameroon, Bamenda is being known for some of it’s wonderful and land mark buildings like the once in up-station, old town and commercial avenue. Hence this town and its infrastructures makes it more suitable for touristic purposes. Also it could likely be seen that most of the buildings in certain places look the same.

AGRICULTURE.

This town coupled with the fresh climatic condition, has a better and white land surface that enable the population at all times to be able to cultivate in their various farms at all time. Agricultural activity in Bamenda includes the rearing of both conventional and unconventional livestock in both urban and peri-urban area. Further, Bamenda is being referred to as the agricultural back bone of Cameroon ‘’the grass land of cameroon’’ and meanwhile, this part of the country is being equipped with a lot of fresher vegetation’s.

THE TOURISTIC SECTOR

If you have not known of some of the things that makes this town attractive it is the touristic aspect of it. Firstly we will be looking at the Mankon Museum arts, and culture from the Mankon kingdom. This product, which represents an essential part of the cultural and artistic heritage of mankon, plays a fundamental role in the cultural continuity of the society.

Bamenda is a place to be @tjean. I think you should refer back to quoting images from external sources. The format is simple [Source Name] (website).
Secondly, it's better when you write from your view point as opposed to writing as if you are making a summary of what has already been written. There is quite a lot that i see that you could include in this post that has not been added. I feel you were fighting with time when you wrote this and it seems you didn't finish the post coz it ended abruptly.
However, this is an amazing piece that brings out the beauty of Bamenda.
