THE CREATIVEWRITING CONTEST: EXPERIENCE IS THE WORST TEACHER.
Hello steemians. Am very pleased to be part of this second phase of the creativewriting contest. And most thanks to @thegreens for giving us this opportunity to show forth our creative skills.
I know my topic sounds quite opposite from the normal saying which we all know about which is "experience is the best teacher" but all the same it is true in cases where we learn from others inorder not make the same mistakes.
But then back to my topic, the reasons why i said experience is the worst teacher is because it gives you the exam or better still results before you get to learn the lesson. These words were spoken to me some few days ago by my uncle and i got to derive a whole bulk of meanings from it.
Therefore, before we get to do anything in life or take decisions we should be very much mindful of its implications on us and those around us.
Take for example a girl who gets pregnant and decides to go for and abortion knowing all the damages that may result from it, she still goes ahead with it. In the process of doing that, she gets to damage her womb in the process and starts regretting. In such a situation, she has just gotten her results only after the damage has been done or better still learning her lesson after loosing her womb.
On the contrary, the only way experience can be the best teacher is if we get to learn from the mistakes other's have made inorder that we avoid doing the same mistakes ourselves. This experience can be gotten by reading books, listening to people's life experiences and trying to adjust our life on the right part as not to make the same mistakes others have made. If we do this, the society and world at large will be a better place and and certain improvements will be visible in every aspect in life.

Yes that's right but it's not from all aspect experience is a worst teacher ,it's just like a double edge sword.

I didn't understand at first instance but when he explained I got it. Do not commit a mistake someone had committed or they had cautioned you of because experience is the worst teacher.

That is why there is a saying that wise people learn from others mistake and fools learn from their mistake. Experience is the worst teacher can best be applied here. Mostly the young age group turn to be victim of such circumstances because they are very ambitious.
I still think experience is the best teacher. Experiencing something others had experienced knowing the consequences isn't experience, its total strong head. It's being headstrong and when you decide to be headstrong, be ready for the consequences.
