The Diary Game: 27-06-2022 | Ghost Town Monday with plenty of food to eat
Mondays are ghost town days in the English-speaking regions of Cameroon that have been in a crisis for over five years. Every Monday, we stay at home and there's little or no movement of people or vehicles. All businesses are closed. It's a ghost town day.
Woke up very late as a result of the Martini effect from Sunday's drinking. While brushing, I decided to clean the mud protectors of the car.
My kids helped me with washing the car tires and fetching water for me to use to wash the car. We washed the car early morning because there was no electricity and since I wasn't sure about when electricity will return, I decided to keep myself busy.

After washing the car, I went into the house and had breakfast. It was about 10:00 AM that I had milk with coffee and pancakes that my daughter and son made in the morning. Anyway, I woke up really late when they had already made breakfast.

After breakfast, I supervised my kids doing their laundry. They finished at about 11:00 AM and then I asked them to take their bikes and have fun under my watchful eyes.

I always supervise them to ensure that they ride safely and not go far since it's a ghost town.
I realized drainage from my Sister's home was digging a hole on the road just in front of my gate. I asked my son to go and purchase a pipe 100 elbow. He bought two for 2000frs (approx. 3 SBD) which I used it to redirect the drainage so that it runs straight into the main drainage

When I finished, I ate some cold and fresh mangoes at about 12:00 PM and engaged in laundry. I had a few innerwear and sportswear to wash. My mum also sent me roasted corn which I ate while doing my laundry.

I washed till 13:00 when I asked the kids to stop biking coz it was about to rain. When they came, they removed the clothes they had sun-dried and then joined me in washing their bikes. Immediately after they finished washing their bikes, it started to rain. I dried my clothes on hangers in the parking store behind the house.

When they finished washing and parking the bikes, they ate rice and stew, and then I asked them to wash their bathroom and clean the clothes they were wearing. I warmed water for them to bathe while they washed their bathroom. Electricity had returned during that time; as such, I did my Steem Cameroon blog's review and curation.
While steeming I enjoyed the chicken my neighbor gave me.

I steemed till 15:30 when @nforyembe and DC came to the house for our usual Monday soccer game. I dressed in my sports attire and then we had a picture before going to the field.

The game was a very good game and I was very impressed with my performance. It rained while we played and unlike other Mondays, I played for 90 minutes. Got home at 17:50 and washed my sports attire immediately. Showered at 19:00 and microwaved three kwacoco bible for dinner. The kids had pork and plantains.
Kwacoco bible is made from grated cocoyams with red oil, fish, dried meat, and spices. It's one of my favorite meals and even tastes better with Canda (Cow skin) soup
Finished eating and had some tea while watching a movie that my kids were watching. Didn't bother to know the name but it was a good movie.
Asked the kids to go to bed at 20:30 while I steemed for a few minutes before going to the sofa to watch a movie to crash.
Goodnight...

always fun coming over to play and have fun with you guys.
Yeah a few experience. The ghost town is an opportunity for us to do some trust and work around the house. I can see you have a lovely day from your breakfast to help your children do their laundry. Also that was great helping your sister I fix her drainage.
