How to curate all posts in your community at over 50% while ensuring your voting mana doesn't get below 75%.

The goal of this post is to guide Steemians to curate all posts in their community at over 50%, better manage their voting manna to ensure it never gets below 75%, as well as create a 'Curation Catchup Window' to ensure that posts in the Steemian's community do not expire without having being curated.

A few days ago, I had a discord training on this topic and below are simple steps you can follow to curate all posts in your community at over 50% while ensuring your voting mana doesn't go below 75%:

Log into your Steemit account and select the community you want to curate as you can see in the image above.

Click the drop-down menu and select 'New'. Once you do, the Community page will reload posts from the newest posts at the top of the page to the oldest posts at the bottom of the page as you can see in the screenshot below:

At this point, you have to let go of posts that are 7, 6, and 5 days old depending on your "Curation Catchup Window".

A Curation Catchup Window is the number of days or hours allowed to compensate for curation inactivity. That is if you curate from the oldest to the newest posts every day and for some reason, you are unable to curate for one day or two days, the Curation Catchup window ensures that posts in your community don't expire without being curated.
The process of letting go of posts that are 7, 6, and 5 days old creates a Curation Catchup Window.

If you chose to start curating from 5 days old posts, it means you have a curation catchup window of two days and this implies if you are not able to curate posts for one or two days in your community, you will still have that opportunity to curate them before they expire on the seventh day.

I strongly recommend you start curating from posts that are 5 days old. At 50%, you will be able to curate over 25 posts to take your voting mana to 75%.
For example, @steem-cameroon has an average of 10 posts per day. This implies, that if you curate at 50%, you will be able to curate all posts that are five days old, all posts that are four days old, and some posts that are three days old to get your voting manna to 75%.
It will take an average of 24 hours for your voting manna to recharge back to over 95% and 30 hours to recharge to 100%.

This means if you repeat the exercise the next day (after 24 hours) to get your voting mana back to 75%, you will realize that you've curated all posts in the Steem Cameroon community except the posts the six days and seven days old posts that you let go.
But how long did this take: two days!. After two days, you will realize that you have enough voting mana but very few posts to curate in the community. You will now be able to start curating at even higher percentages to get back your voting mana to 75% or curating posts from other communities that you belong to. Meaning you can now curate at 75% or 100% giving out more juicy upvotes to members of your community.

I have tried this strategy and it's proven to be successful: I am proud that I curate all quality content in the @steem-cameroon community and Steem POD Team. I will be increasing the number of communities I reach out to in the days ahead and sharing more tips.
