Community Service: Service to community is a great walk of life

For three days now, I’ve been working to fill a gully that’s on the road in front of my house.
It hasn’t been easy and my muscles ache from this hard work that’s aimed at improving on the state of the roads in my community.

I was assisted by one volunteer during the work but the feedback from the community was very inspiring. Lots of encouragement and support.

I filled cement bags with earth and used it to build the gully, making it easy for vehicles, bikes and persons to easily pass through this spot that has been a major issue in our community.

We should be the change we seek and in my community, I always take the lead in fixing community problems. This has inspired many people to start living like me. I believe it’s just one man to make a change and I want to encourage you that if you find a problem in your community which you can fix, do not hesitate to fix it because “service to community is a great walk of life”
