Good day everyone, I'm so excited to be here in this community as this will be my first post here and I would be joining a contest organized by @chant with the topic "Seek For Help". We all know everyone needed help at one point in our lives, even to understand how Steemit works, we needed the help of someone to guide and put us through. Today I will be telling you about how I sought help, the response I got and the lesson I learned from it. Go with me as I proceed.
Have you ever seek for help?
My answer is yes, I had sought help from people. As a human I believe we can not do everything on our own, whether wealthy, rich, powerful, or poor, there would be a point in our lives when we would need to seek help from another person. Seeking help is normal, it doesn't belittle one's position or ability. In this life, we are made for one another, to help in the period of need, comfort, and be there for one another.
Even the word of God made us understand that it is normal to seek help, He created Eve as a helpmate to Adam because He knows we cannot do everything all alone and as a human, I had sought help many times, some give excuses, some expects some things as an exchange before they could help while some were able to render the help without expecting anything in return.
What was the reason for you seeking help?
The reason why I seek for help was that I was having an allergy and I needed to see a doctor quickly to know if the condition is normal or dangerous for my health.
I had been experiencing an allergy for years, when someone holds me too tight or pinch me, the place will swell up for like 10 minutes before it becomes normal back.
Image of my hand with the Urticaria
I had done a series of tests like Complete Blood Count, Blood Microscopic test for Microfilaria or other parasitic blood infection and all the result comes out normal until it started itching, so I resolve into seeing a doctor but I don't have much time going through Outpatient department, instead, I seek help from a doctor that I met some months before the incidence.
Who do you seek help from?
A senior residence doctor who was a hematologist. A hematologist is a doctor treating anything related to blood such as blood infection, sickle cell disease, anemia, leukemia, and so on.
Did they respond positively or negatively?
He responded positively when I explained my condition to him, I told him I just want to know if I'm still under normal condition or if there is a need for medical attention. He asked me to do some tests and bring the result the following day.
When I got there, he attended to me quickly because I told him I took permission from work, my result shows that I'm fine he said it is just a normal Urticaria that I would outgrow later but he still referred me to a dermatologist friend for a skin check and consultation. He even made the consultation easy for me as he helped put a call through the doctor ahead. I met the dermatologist without delay, he said the same thing and prescribed a drug for the itching.
Did you learn any lessons from such situations?
What I learned about the situation is that help can come from anywhere, this doctor was initially not my friend until I helped him with some lab investigations that was urgent and when I needed help from him, he did more than I expected. Despite not knowing each other that much, he helped me without collecting a dime or expecting anything in return.
Give out a word of motivation to someone who needed help but had no one to help
My word of motivation for someone that needed help but had no one to help is to have faith in God and not give up. Help can come from anybody be it a stranger, someone close, or the person you least expect help from. God is the helper of the helpless. I could remember when I was sick and needed money to buy drugs but the moment I thought all hope was lost, a stranger came with my friend to pray for me and he gave me more than the money saying he felt I needed money. That is it, God will never forget us, whoever has no one to help should look up to God, He is the greatest helper and I'm sure He will send help to such person. Also, be positive in every situation.
Conclusion
Seeking help is a normal thing in this life and whether or not we receive a positive response doesn't mean we should give up seeking help. Whoever needed help but has no one to help should not give up asking, they should have faith in God, pray to him and help will surely come when they never expected it. I have been in a situation like this before, and help came when I least expected it. Thank you for reading.

Hello my friend
I totally agree with you seeking for help, it cost no harm and I'm sorry about the allergy. Hope it's better now.
Going true processes in hospital is quite strenuous and time consuming but if you have a medical personnel in the establishment. It an upper advantage for you...
Thanks for sharing..
Yes, knowing someone at a federal hospital is good and one will not go through so much process. Thank you for your care, the allergy is not bad and I was told I would outgrow it someday.
Thanks for reading.

Indeed there is nothing we can do without the help of other in life , imagine the situation after everything you were through seeking help from one doctor to another
If it was the case that where you keep saying I can seek help from anyone for like you would have been able to meet up with your condition from one doctor to another
Like you rightly said, God made us for another and seeking for help does not belittle your position weather you are reach or not
I also want to say that am sorry about the situation where you found youself because that is how blood related diseases are my dear
Thank for this wonderful publication
It is not a blood-related disease, it's just a skin allergy that surface when I play rough or somehow holds me too tight. Thank you for a reading friend.
Alright my dear
