The Diary Game 4/9/2024 Embracing the Everyday: Growth and Service
Good evening, everyone. I hope you all had a wonderful day! Today, I started my day with prayers, which gave me a peaceful beginning. Later, I offered to help my father as he was preparing his truck to step out. I brought him some water, and we had a nice chat while he was doing necessary checks in his truck.
Afterward, he handed me some bananas to feed the tortoises, so I went ahead and took care of them, checking if they also needed water.
Later on my aunt came over for a consultation for her sunburn.I advised her to get Cerave AM and PM, especially the AM which is a sunscreen itself. Also asked her to avoid using hot water on her face and to make sure to stay hydrated.
Next, I harvested some leaves. I'm not sure of their name, but my mom mentioned that they are known to boost fertility, and many people come to collect them from our compound. Additionally, she said they help keep snakes away, so we harvested the seeds and dried them to plant at our other house.
After that, we visited the new house, and I was amazed at the progress. We checked on the dried corn in the kitchen to make sure the rats hadn't gotten to it.
Then, as we walked around, my mom showed me a plant she calls the miracle plant, which is used to cure ear infections that produce pus, and when boiled with garlic, it can even cure gastric issues.
I also checked on one of my favorite fruits to see if it was ripe, but it wasn't ready to harvest yet, as some children had recently picked most of them.
We then returned home, where I rested for a bit before heading out to help my aunt at her restaurant. Later, I came back home and rested.
When I got up, had a bath and while preparing to step out, my niece arrived, so I spent a little time with her before heading out to meet a childhood friend.
We had a great time talking about our dreams. I shared my business experiences with her, encouraging her to realize that the "more” she is looking for is often found in the little she already has. I urged her to start small and stop procrastinating.
In the evening, I returned home, served my father his dinner, had something to eat myself,
and then brushed up before bed. I think it's safe to say, my day was full and fulfilling
🌞 Wow, what a wonderful day you've had! 🤩 I'm so inspired by all the good deeds and helpful acts you shared. From praying for a peaceful start to the day to caring for your tortoises, it's clear that kindness and compassion are core values in your life. ❤️
I love how you took time to chat with your dad while he was preparing his truck, and later helped your aunt with her sunburn - what a thoughtful son and nephew you are! 😊 And the way you harvested leaves for fertility and snake-repelling purposes is so interesting. 🌱
Your visit to the new house and seeing the progress there must have been exciting. I'm curious about the "miracle plant" your mom showed you, and I'd love to learn more about it! 🤔
It's heartwarming to see how you took time to share your business experiences with your niece and encouraged her to pursue her dreams. Your words of wisdom will surely stay with her forever. 💖
Your day may have been full, but it sounds incredibly fulfilling. Thank you for sharing this lovely post with us, and I wish you a wonderful restful night's sleep! 😊
Thank You. I’m a daughter, not a son, oh hahahahahah. And about the miracle plant, she made me understand that it doesn't grow by planting seeds. All it requires is that a leaf from the plant should fall to the ground, and that is the start of another miracle plant. As for the tortoises, it's always so exciting to look at them. I used to hear a lot about tortoises while growing up, and seeing a tortoise was in my father’s house after about 24 years of my life.
