Introduction

Plagiarism is a day-to-day fight on the steemit platform to make sure authors create original content.
The act to fight plagiarism by the Steem Cameroon Community falls in line with the objective of the Steemit team.
Steemit wants to be the leading platform for the visitor to learn while rewarding the content creators.
Before looking so deep, let's look at what plagiarism is.

What is Plagiarism:

Many have always looked at plagiarism to be just a copy and paste of the author's original ideas but this act is more serious than they think.

Plagiarise is the act of using, stealing, and presenting someone else's work as a new ideal claiming to be the original author. That means lying and categorically stealing from the original author, which is a copyright offense.

Proof of brain mechanism

This mechanism is not about blockchain, it is about communities finding the most appropriate means to reward content creators. For this mechanism to be valid, the authors need to create great content, which is free from any fraudulent acts be it text, image, or video.
The Steem Cameroon Plagiarism Team is being created to ensure that plagiarism-free content is rewarded depending on the quality, creativity and worth of the content.

The benefit of a Plagiarism free Community

• The authors will get upvotes to reward them for their hard work.
• The authors will have a better development environment for content creation
• The author's writing skills will improve and avoid embarrassment.
• The authors will have the chance to think for themself and build their thinking ability
• The author can sleep well at night knowing that their content is free from plagiarism.
• The authors will demonstrate good quality in content creation ability.
• The author will have a better understanding of the content produced.

Plagiarism Team

The benefits of a plagiarism free community are enormous and this explains why the Steem Cameroon Team didn’t want to be left behind in the fight against plagiarism in their community. As such, the team is bent on finding and punishing all Cameroonian Steemians who take advantage and posting and receive credit for content not belonging to them.

Objectives

To have a plagiarism-free community with a 100 % establishing Proof of brain mechanism.

Step of Operation

• Three(3) times Warning with comment tip to help the author improve on the content from the Steem Cameroon Community curation account.

• Banned from the community by muting any post posted by the defaulter who did not heed to the three warnings.

For the now, the Steem Cameroon Plagiarism team will be using the community account to warn and mute plagiarised content. As the community grows, we will be looking at creating a separate account to manage this aspect in the community. All this is to make Steem Cameroon curation account will be able to implement Proof-of-Brain(PoB) Mechanism with ease.
