Hello my beautiful people of steem Cameroon community,am always very happy to write, it feels like home and all the contest I participated in here is one that aims at bringing to the spotlight Africa and promoting and showcasing us to the world, I must commend everyone here for that.

The internet is simple the global remote link of computers or the netting of billions of servers,phones and smart appliances that communicated using one protocol.

what do you know about the day ?

The world internet day, October,1969 in history, two months after Neil Armstrong landed on the moon,the international association of internet user
Promoted the day in commemorations of Neil Armstrong achievement, in 2005. Internet day was first celebrated on 29 October,2005. Message was first sent electronically in history on 29 October, 1969.
The world internet day is a day set aside every year, to properly examine the effects of the internet on our general life taking in consideration or bearing in mind how it has affected the world and the way it tends to affect us further , the disadvantages it has , the need to enlighten people on dangers of sharing sensitive informations in the internet and the need to make internet available in remote areas.

How do you or your country or your organization celebrate the day ?

As for me internet literally has became part of my daily routine of life, I am always online communicating with friends and family. Nigeria doesn't do much due to their corrupt nature, they just go to a big computer that does mainly computer works , interview them and take some pictures of software , write some script and gives us the news and that marks the end.

what impact does your community get during and after the commemoration day?

In Nigeria we already make use of technology that is driven by the internet , it is very rare to see a person who do not have the basic knowledge of the internet, so there is no Significant change during or after the commemoration day but that is not to say that internet has not changed our lives here.

what issue or concerns will you recommend to be commemorated this week and what date?

Haven spoke about the internet and it's blessing, I think that it will not be out of place to discuss the hazardous nature of the internet . I will recommend that every 30 October, will be a set aside to enlighten people on the disadvantages of the internet,like cyber crimes, e.t.c.
